Disassembly / Reassembly has an additional charge, there is a $70.00 minimum and ranges between $75 – $150 depending on the gun and difficulty.

Laser Engraving work can range from same day to 2 weeks if design work is needed.

Important Information before starting your project.

• Removal of Original Finish: The media blasting process completely removes all original finishes (e.g., bluing, anodizing, factory paint, or Parkerizing). It cannot be undone to revert to the factory look.

• Pre-Existing Damage: Blasting will reveal the underlying metal. If the original finish was hiding deep scratches, rust, pitting, or manufacturing stamps, these imperfections will be visible under the new coating.

• Disassembly Risks: Stripping and coating require the item to be fully disassembled. Applicators are not responsible for factory defects, stripped screws, or worn-out springs found during breakdown.

• Tight Tolerances: While Cerakote is ultra-thin, it still adds a layer. Moving parts or tight-tolerance mechanisms (like triggers or slides) may feel slightly "sticky" at first and usually require a brief break-in period with gun oil or grease.

• Coating Durability: Cerakote is not indestructible. It is subject to wear on high-friction points, moving parts, and areas exposed to holster wear, just like any factory finish.

Warranty Information

1. Coverage and Duration

Crawford Hydrographic Services, LLC guarantees that the Cerakote finish is free from application defects—including cracking, peeling, flaking, and blistering—for a period of 1 year from the date of completion, under normal use and proper maintenance.

2. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, holster wear, scratches, gouges, dents, or damage resulting from:

• Damage, impacts, modifications, scratches, or misuse, abuse, accident, improper cleaning.

• Exposure to harsh chemicals, solvents, or extreme, unrated heat.

• Improper reassembly or re-installation.

• Barrels and internal moving parts (where friction naturally wears coatings).

• The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser, with a receipt required for service.

• Flexible plastics, rubbers.

3. Remedy

If the coating fails due to an application error within the warranty period, Crawford Hydrographic Services, LLC will, at its discretion, either repair or re-coat the defective part at no charge.

4. Claim Process

To file a claim, contact us at Jcrawford@crawfordhydro.com or 717-476-1161 with your original receipt and clear photographs of the defect. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item to our facility.
